The longer you stare at something the scarier it gets. And sadly, that’s your most used sense. Your sight. Your eyes. The window to the soul, and that soul gets trapped into the fears every time they’re open. What happens when they can’t close, even when you see the blackness?
it’s currently Tuesday evening, and you’re excited to finally lie down after a long day of searching for new fabrics. the newest hobby is sewing, if a four year on again and off again relationship counts as something new. doesn’t matter, now you’ve entered the stage of creating original pieces. the easiest thing to start off with is a thrift flip. easy peasy lemon squeezy. all you need is to just prep the shirt to prepare the garment to fit your body how you like it.
why does the machine have to run. can it not sit under the table, white and desolate?
why does it take so much so the requirement together to make it fit your body. i’m not sure but what i do know is that eventually it will get you it will weave into your body into your soul and make sure everything fits just fine. into this weaving we feel the peace come together slowly and as it feels your body it makes you the fears are felt,
the clack clack clack of the needle in the machine it haunts you. wondering when it will make this noise again. "I’m not sure," you wonder to yourself. why does the machine have to run. can it not sit under the table, white and desolate? staring back eyeless and sucking your life force out of you.
so you separate yourself. one day turns into ten, and ten turns into thirty. now the next craft is collecting art prints, but the walls demand to be bare. as punishment you must see the walls as they see you. empty and soulless, a machine which must run. unlike the machine you set aside.
time has run out and you must face the walls. permanently. and as you stare at the walls your gears start to slow and the other machines power up. they must take you out so that you learn. never start something you cannot finish. as the teeth in the gears pass by one last time you shut off and your tether now takes Your place.
