Alexandra and Ximena Arriaga are sisters and activists in two of the bleakest areas of the cultural landscape—international human rights and domestic violence, respectively. Yet they are two of the most joyous women we’ve met.

To commemorate the release of the last Iris Magazine print edition, the Women’s Center is hosting a bon voyage party! Join us as we usher in the new digital era for Iris while mingling with other readers and enjoying delicious food and refreshments. Also, the Center’s very own Associate Director, Ginger Moran, will be reading from her new book, The Algebra of Snow. A copy of this critically acclaimed novel will be raffled off to one lucky person!
