You just are, no need to play a part
Names and Pronouns and Sexuality
Can change as easily as the seasons
It is accepted and no less normal
Than someone who stays the same from K-12
Or someone who changes every Blue Moon
It’s all fine, perfectly normal or not
The new normal doesn’t exist
We are all Queer, we are us, not an act
Love is love is love is love
All of its forms are celebrated, not just
Romantic, but sexual and platonic
And all the different forms it takes
No more pyramids, no more hierarchies
We are all of the earth,
Let us love it as we love ourselves
Community, Compassion, Care
All of this for us and our children
Not a legacy to be left behind
Children are not for us and our expectations
But whom we better the world for
This world isn’t perfect, humans aren’t perfect,
But we try and in trying our utopia is built
