Holidays are notorious for breakups.

We live in an age of social media. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn…if you can connect to it, we’re on it. How do we make sense of the undeniable lure of these virtual communication avenues—is it our modern day society? Is it something internally motivated, maybe a fear of being alone? At Iris we are concerned with the empowerment and aid of women here at the University of Virginia. Many of the women here (myself included) are young, in their twenties, and all of us could use some life advice.
